Jerusalem just gets more beautiful everyday!

Image
Most of the time we think of downtown Jerusalem as very busy, the train goes round and round, but here is a nice corner for meditation.  But, no place to sit, really, Ok, a standing meditation. MDA - Support the Hard working volunteers who make it all possible!

Image
This the MDA, Magen David Adom.  If you have ever had to call an ambulance, then you know about their good work.  In every situation, at any time of the day or night, even on Shabbat, the volunteers are our boys and girls who help the sick.  Any time you hear an ambulance siren know that they are giving of their time and effort.  All the volunteers have undergone intensive Emergency Medical training, and are well equipped for any emergency. If you need to call them just pick up any phone and call 101.  For more information in Hebrew call: https://www.mdaisrael.org.il/ by: Rachael Alice Orbach

Every week we were in the Rose Garden, saying Psalms, listening to speeches and making noise.  People say that demonstrations don't have an effect, but I think that we annoyed Barak.  His government didn't last long and we made our voice heard. In today's situation, if you don't make your voice heard, then you are one of the ones who agree with the kidnapping of children who were coming home from school to become political pawns.  Is that right?  Is it ethical? Would an Arab woman want her son to be abducted?  I would venture to say no. As Abbas says " We are human too." Start to act like it, residents of Ramallah.   Enter the human race and protest! Today the temperature will go up to 29 C, that is 84 F, so take your water bottles, and sunhats!  Rachael Orbach http://lifecoachjerusalem.weebly.com/
